A plastic T-slot beam and accessory line is being developed as the main construction method for a 3D Printer as well as a competent prototyping and hobby construction set. It is developed with these considerations in mind to give it advantage over other methods:
- Designed to be printed at home and fused into beams of any length
- Designed in conjunction with professional plastic die extrusion so that structurally solid and dimensionally stable beams may be quickly and cheaply produced
- A fully printable method for joining beams and attaching accessories
- A beam profile that remains printable when scaled
- Accessories developed with 3d printing and robotics specifically in mind
